This was meant to be part of a more comprehensive self-portrait photo shoot. However, once I got started, I realized that the battery in my camera remote had died. I attempted a few using the timer on the camera, but found that it had focusing issues, so I quickly gave up and was about to call it a wasted evening. I didn’t even pull the images off my camera until the next day, when I was pleasantly surprised by how well this image had come out. With a little tweaking in Photoshop, it even became presentable.
