Taken on my drive back from my weekend trip to Ashland, Oregon. Due to afternoon rainshowers, we were treated to very dramatic and fiery skies. I paid more attention to the clouds than I did to my driving and took every opportunity I had to pull off the road and take pictures. The intense orange had faded significantly by the time I was able to take this picture, but it was replaced with a foreboding dark blue.
