Many of the sculptures we saw in Thailand and Laos (whether or not they were on temple grounds) were decorated with these floral offerings. These orange flowers were the most striking because of they stood out so brightly against what were often dark, crumbling statues. We saw women weaving fresh flowers together to sell to those entering temples.
