When I first saw this photo on my computer, I was annoyed by the signs for the Internet Cafe, but the more I look at it, the more I like it. I like how the image shows characteristics of Old Town, with just a hint of modern day life. Warsaw’s Old Town was truly impressive. We were able to see photographs of how completely devastated Warsaw was after World War II next to photos of the exact same spot now and it was truly impressive. Warsaw’s Old Town had to be almost completely reconstructed after the war and it was done so successfully that it still retains all of its old charm.
